Illustration realised for Oikos 2020, a conference organised by the Nordic Society Oikos and the Ecological Society of Iceland about “Ecology in the Anthropocene”.
This black and white illustration about Icelandic flora and fauna was printed on the tote bags distributed among the participants.
Illustrations realised for the research organisation Icelandic Orcas in November 2019.
The Icelandic Orca Project is part of the Whales of Vestmannaeyjar (WhaVe) non-profit organization, which aims to aid conservation of cetaceans in the waters of Iceland with a focus in Vestmannaeyjar, through support of scientific studies and public outreach.
The two islands in the foreground are the Vestmannaeyjar (Westman Islands), where most of their research takes place. The design is inspired by Iceland's stunning winter nights.
These designs can be printed on 100% cotton t-shirts, tote bags and more and purchased through their online shop. All proceeds from the sales will be used to fund killer whale research in Iceland!
